Overview

This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role involves providing direct patient care to optimize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions within a skilled nursing facility setting.

  • Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, delivering therapies, documenting progress, and communicating with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
  • Supervises clinical staff, ensures compliance with regulatory documentation standards, and manages billing and approval processes.
  • Contributes to team collaboration by integrating findings, participating in meetings, and educating staff and families.
  • Maintains current clinical knowledge through continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Promotes a positive, safe, and professional work environment, demonstrating excellent communication, safety practices, and customer service.
  • Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP certification, California licensure, and 2-3 years of experience preferred. Must be able to perform physical tasks and adhere to safety protocols.
