Seeking a Registered Nurse for an Med Surg Ortho unit providing comprehensive care to adult orthopedic and medical-surgical patients.
Key duties:
- Perform thorough patient assessments and deliver individualized nursing care
- Manage post-operative care, including monitoring and interventions
- Support effective pain control and symptom management
- Coordinate discharge planning and patient education
- Collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes
- Use advanced technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems to document and communicate care
- Participate in quality and safety initiatives
Qualifications/skills:
- Active RN licensure
- Strong clinical assessment and post-operative management skills
- Proficiency with EHR and technology-enabled workflows
- Effective communication and teamwork with care teams
