Overview
Med/Surg Clinical Nurse provides compassionate, evidence-based care to adult inpatients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments.
- Administer medications safely and accurately.
- Coordinate and implement multidisciplinary care plans.
- Educate patients and families to support safe discharge.
- Use critical thinking to respond to changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Follow strict safety, infection-control, and care quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered nursing licensure and strong Med/Surg clinical competency.
- Evidence-based practice and sound clinical judgment.
- Strong communication and collaboration with care teams.
- Patient- and family-centered education skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and ensure safe care delivery.
