Key Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
- Administer oxygen and aerosol therapies; provide respiratory treatments per protocol.
- Manage and troubleshoot ventilators and support respiratory care needs.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests related to cardiopulmonary function.
- Respond to rapid response and code events as part of the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment plans.
- Follow evidence-based clinical protocols and maintain safe, ethical, compassionate care.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential and strong clinical respiratory assessment skills.
- Proficiency with oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management.
- Ability to perform diagnostic testing and support urgent/emergency response.
