Overview
Provide patient-centered nursing care on a neuro medical-surgical unit.
Key Duties
- Assess patients and monitor for clinical changes
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Document nursing care accurately and timely
- Coordinate and communicate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and self-care
- Deliver compassionate care that supports patient comfort, safety, and outcomes
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered nurse with strong neuro/medical-surgical clinical knowledge
- Ability to recognize and respond to patient changes
- Medication administration and treatment delivery competency
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Patient/family education skills with a clear, supportive approach
