Overview

Cardiac-Critical Care Intensivist providing expert care for critically ill patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including transplant and postoperative patients, mechanical circulatory support, ECMO, and cardiogenic shock.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex cardiac ICU patients requiring advanced critical care.
  • Perform and oversee high-acuity procedures, including chest tube placement, bronchoscopy, and emergency intubation.
  • Provide care for patients on mechanical circulatory support and ECMO.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based critical care.
  • Teach and contribute to the development and operation of the ECMO program.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong expertise in critical care with a cardiac focus.
  • Proficiency with airway management and procedural critical care interventions.
  • Experience managing cardiogenic shock and advanced cardiac therapies.
  • Ability to teach, mentor, and actively participate in specialized programs.
