Overview
Role: Transition into operating room (OR) nursing through a structured nurse residency experience. Provide professional nursing care across the health–illness continuum, with a focus on assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver general nursing care for patients and assist with OR nursing transition.
- Assess patient needs and clinical status.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the broader healthcare team to support safe, effective care.
- Respond to urgent clinical needs as required for on-call coverage, with site-specific exceptions.
