Overview
Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Traveler)
Provide bedside care to diverse adult patients in an acute care med-surg setting. Conduct individualized assessments and develop, implement, and revise patient care plans based on clinical findings.
- Administer medications and document patient care and outcomes
- Start, monitor, and manage IV therapy
- Change dressings and perform routine wound/skin care
- Insert and manage catheters as indicated
- Monitor for adverse symptoms and promptly escalate concerns to physicians
Qualifications & Skills
- Active RN licensure
- Strong med-surg clinical assessment and critical thinking
- Accurate medication administration and documentation skills
- Competency with IV therapy, dressings, and catheter management
- Effective communication and patient-focused care
