Overview
Oncology Med Surg Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN)
Lead compassionate, evidence-based care for adult oncology and medical-surgical patients. Coordinate patient care from admission through discharge, manage daily unit workflow, and support bedside nurses to ensure smooth, safe operations.
- Coordinate care across the continuum and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards
- Oversee unit workflow and provide guidance to bedside nursing staff
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care needs
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance oncology care
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure
- Experience in adult oncology and/or medical-surgical nursing
- Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and patient education skills
