This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role involves providing direct patient care to optimize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions within a skilled nursing facility setting.
Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, delivering therapies, documenting progress, and communicating with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families. Supervises clinical staff, ensures compliance with regulatory documentation standards, and manages billing and approval processes. Contributes to team collaboration by integrating findings, participating in meetings, and educating staff and families. Maintains current clinical knowledge through continuing education and professional development activities. Promotes a positive, safe, and professional work environment, demonstrating excellent communication, safety practices, and customer service. Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP certification, California licensure, and 2-3 years of experience preferred.
