Overview
Seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to provide specialized assessments, diagnosis, and therapy for students with severe behavioral and developmental needs.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and recommend augmentative communication devices.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for speech, language, social communication, and feeding issues.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support communication goals and train staff in communication strategies.
- Integrate communication supports into behavior intervention plans and assist during crisis situations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
Qualifications include a master’s degree, current licensure, and experience working with children with severe disabilities. Preferred skills include experience with ABA, AAC systems, and bilingual capabilities. Benefits include competitive salary, health insurance, paid time off, and a multidisciplinary team environment.
