Overview

We are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time, onsite adult inpatient role in Alton, IL.


  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM,
    37.5 hours/week with no weekends, holidays, or after-hours call
  • Location: 100% onsite in a secure clinical setting
  • Caseload: ~22 patients/day
  • Compensation: $210–$225/hour (~$450,000–$470,000/year)

    • Responsibilities include:

    • Evaluating and treating adult inpatients
    • Managing psychopharmacology and documenting medication changes
    • Completing progress notes and clinical reports
    • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and participating in treatment planning

    Qualifications:

    • MD or DO, Board Certified/Eligible
    • Active Illinois medical, DEA, and Controlled Substance licenses
    • Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred
    • Comfortable working in a structured, secure environment
