Overview

This per diem Regional Radiation Oncologist position involves managing in- and out-patient consultations, CT simulation, treatment planning, chart rounds, tumor boards, and follow-up clinics at two hospital centers.

The role is temporary, lasting approximately four to eight months, covering weekly and vacation periods, with potential on-call duties.

Candidates should have an MD, ABR certification or eligibility, and a valid New York State license, DEA, and Medicaid number.

Strong clinical skills, teaching interest, and excellent communication are preferred.

Compensation is $150/hour. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to resident education within a university-affiliated clinical setting. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from NYC, New Jersey, and Long Island.
