Overview
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role involves providing patient-centered care to enhance speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions within a skilled nursing facility.
Essential duties include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, documenting progress accurately, and communicating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. The role supervises clinical staff, contributes to professional development, and promotes a positive facility culture.
Qualified candidates should hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, possess a CCC, state licensure, and CPR certification if required. Prior rehab experience and strong communication skills are preferred. The position offers a pay rate of $55-$65/hour, health benefits, and requires approximately 40 hours per week with mainly in-person duties.
